Some capabilities a certain fish should possess to be able to adapt in fresh water environment are as follows: gills must be able to distribute water within the body while keeping their salts well-balanced; their scales should always be intact to prevent death when water becomes excessive in their body due to scale lost; and kidneys should be bigger, larger to assess water that passes through it. Examples of popular fresh water fishes are trout, salmon, three- spined stickleback, eels, sea lamprey, Koi’s, golden white cloud, peacock bass (ocellaris), blue peacock cichlid, electric yellow cichlid, black ghost knifefish, and a lot more.
